About this event

Join poet and author Julie Taylor Green as she discusses the “work of art in the world,” and how her museum experience shaped her book Navigating the Quiet Descent (Kelsay Books), a mixed tape of poetry and prose that began as notes for Emory’s Integrated Memory office while she was primary caregiver for her partner of thirty years.

“A tender and lyrical collection…Green sees eternity in a grain of sand, and perhaps that single granular moment is all that we have in this transitory world.” - Jeff Newberry, author, How to Talk to the Dead

This program is free and open the public, and registration is required.
