- ➤ The Georgia DOT begins construction today on 16 miles of tolled express lanes on GA 400 from North Springs MARTA station to McFarland Parkway with daily and nightly lane closures planned to reduce congestion and add dedicated bus spots. The $11 billion public-private project will open the lanes in 2031. Atlanta News First
