- ➤ Yesterday, Gov. Brian Kemp signed a tax bill that uses part of the state’s $16.5 billion reserves to offer rebates to full-year residents who filed tax returns in 2023 and 2024 ($250 for individuals, $375 for heads of household, $500 for married couples filing jointly). The Georgia Department of Revenue will begin issuing refunds in late May via direct deposit or check. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
