- ➤ Sen. Ossoff launched an investigation into out-of-state companies buying single-family rental homes as new research shows institutional investors now own 30% of these properties in metro Atlanta—nearly ten times the national average. The probe will examine how this corporate takeover is driving up home prices and reducing access to homeownership while lawmakers consider policy changes. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
- ➤ Sen. Ossoff launched an inquiry into out-of-state corporate landlords that own many single-family homes in Georgia — a report found over 30% of metro Atlanta homes are owned by these companies nearly 10 times the national average — and he sent questions to four firms which must answer by July 1.
