- ➤ Fulton County commissioners delayed awarding a $153 million, five-year contract for operating the Big Creek Water Reclamation Facility + two other plants after Veolia protested alleged bid bias in the bid evaluation process that followed an E. coli leak which closed 11 miles of the Chattahoochee River two years ago. Commissioners plan to rebid the contract with revised solicitation language to better assess environmental compliance and engineering services. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
