- ➤ On June 16, the Alpharetta City Council unanimously approved a 5.75 mill property tax rate and a $163 million citywide budget for fiscal year 2026 with one rate for maintenance and operations and another for general obligation debt. A second public hearing is set for June 23 at 11:30 a.m. and a final vote at 6:30 p.m.—both meetings will be in the council chambers at City Hall. Appen Media
- ➤ A boil water advisory was in effect for part of north Fulton County after a contractor accidentally broke a 24-inch water main near Morris Road — Lathene Drive in Alpharetta on Monday afternoon; crews worked Tuesday to repair the main with completion estimated by 4 p.m. pending water test results.
