- ➤ A Johns Creek teen accused of cashing over $545,000 in fake checks to pay a lawyer was granted a $250,000 bond and released from Muscogee County Jail after depositing the checks at Synovus Bank in Alpharetta—police said he quickly moved the money via wire transfers and purchases. WSB-TV
- ➤ Officers investigated a theft at the Avalon Apple Store on June 12 when a male suspect stole a gold iPhone 16 Pro valued at $1,099 at about 3:30 p.m.—security cameras captured the incident and the suspect, a 36-year-old from Marietta with past thefts at Atlanta Apple Stores and a 2023 shoplifting warrant, is now under review.
