The Northern Ridge Boy Scout District (serving Roswell, Alpharetta, John’s Creek and Milton) announced that its newest Eagle Scouts completed their Eagle Board of Review on July 31 at Alpharetta Presbyterian Church.

The scouts earned the honor by finishing service projects like building picnic tables, repairing outdoor classrooms and restoring playgrounds.

In July, the Greater North Fulton Chamber formed the Alpharetta Business Council to support local businesses — the Alpharetta Chamber of Commerce will no longer exist.

Current chamber members received automatic membership, and nominations for the 2026 board will open in the fall.

Alpharetta police responded to a North Point Mall department store on July 25 after three women attempted to shoplift nearly $1,200 of perfume—hiding Marc Jacobs, Jimmy Choo and Coach products—when they dropped the goods and fled.
