- ➤ Trent Lindgren was sworn in as Alpharetta’s new police chief on Thursday afternoon — a former Atlanta Police Department officer credited with the support of three mentors — succeeding John Robison who now serves as the city’s assistant city administrator. FOX 5 Atlanta
- ➤ GDOT’s new Day One Deployment system is already in use at over 2,000 traffic signals in metro Atlanta to give drivers real-time info on light status and weather—helping first responders and MARTA buses get more green lights. GDOT plans to add its smart system to all 6,500 signals on state routes by 2033. WSB-TV
