- ➤ Equifax is spending $25 million to expand its Alpharetta campus and add nearly 250 new jobs—this will raise total full-time staff to about 1,660. Renovations will begin later this year to convert JV White 1 from a data center into office space for the Corporate Technology Team. WSB-TV
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Alpharetta voters will hear from City Council candidates at a forum scheduled for Sept. 15 ahead of the November election—hosted by the Alpharetta Business Association and Old Milton County Historical Society. The nonpartisan forum runs from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at City Council Chambers, 2 Park Plaza. Appen Media
- ➤ The City of Alpharetta is restructuring its public safety services after leadership changes to better serve a growing community. John Robison, a former chief of public safety, was named assistant city administrator at an Aug. 18 meeting — with Trent Lindgren and Brad Denkinger taking new roles as police and fire chiefs while the 911 center is enhanced.
