  • Jenny Harty, an Alpharetta mother and child safety advocate, has launched a new children's book—Francie and Fitz Booster Buddies—designed to teach kids about booster seat safety. She will host a free car seat safety check event on Sept 27 at Ed Voyles Honda to show families the proper way to install seats.  The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
  • Fifty people gathered at Willis Park Saturday for a prayer vigil honoring conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was fatally shot on Sept.10 while speaking at a college event in Utah—organizers said his debate style influenced many young people and noted his funeral is scheduled for today at State Farm Stadium with doors opening at 8 a.m. PT.  Atlanta News First
