- ➤ Local journalist Mario Guevara was deported Friday morning after spending over 100 days in immigration jail and arrived in Olocuilta, El Salvador—famed for its pupusas—and expressed emotion while video-calling his family—divided between El Salvador and the United States—and vowed to return someday. - ➤ Fulton County Superior Court Judge Shermela Williams—accused of illegally jailing a young witness and mishandling family cases—faces removal from the bench as recommended by Georgia’s judicial watchdog. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
- ➤ Fulton County Commission approved a 5% water and sewer rate hike effective in January, with a second 5% increase scheduled for next year—this change will support planned upgrades to the water and wastewater systems serving most North Fulton cities.
