Good morning, Alpharetta.

Metro Atlanta and North Georgia will host Halloween events and haunted attractions through early November.

The events include haunted houses, themed pop-up bars and ghost tours — offering choices for both family fun and adult parties — and invite local residents to enjoy a spooky season.

Mosquito samples from traps in Fulton County tested positive for Eastern equine encephalitis (EEE) this week, health officials said.

The department is working with its mosquito control partner in the Hapeville area and urges residents to remove standing water to reduce mosquito breeding.

A patch of land in Alpharetta increased in value by 300% over three years as local market demand and development raised buyer interest—further investment is expected to boost the trend.
