- ➤ Daylight Saving Time will end next weekend when clocks will be turned back at 2 a.m. on November 2 for those whose clocks do not adjust automatically—residents should update their clocks. WSB-TV
- ➤ The USDA announced that SNAP benefits will be unavailable starting Nov. 1 due to the government shutdown and FOX LOCAL's Judayah Murray shared a free resource to help locals find food assistance in their zip code. FOX 5 Atlanta
- ➤ Gov. Brian Kemp and first lady Marty Kemp will lead a Georgia delegation to Japan this week after their visit to South Korea — the trip will include stops in Osaka and Tokyo where Kemp will attend the two-day SEUS-Japan Conference and present the Governor George Busbee Award to Georgia-Kai — to boost trade ties.
